Have you ever found yourself wishing you had more time on your hands? Do you need help painting, redecorating, raking, digging, cleaning, or anything else? Why not rent-a habitater.

Joining a number of other schools, on Oct. 26 and 27, the Mercyhurst chapter of Habitat for Humanity will be “renting” pairs of students out to local participants.

Volunteers will be available in two hour shifts to help you around the house. The chapter has suggested a donation of $40 for each two-hour shift of two students, with proceeds earmarked to support student spring break trips to build houses for families in need, as well as other future service trips.

As the largest fundraiser of the year for Mercyhurst’s chapter of Habitat for Humanity, the group hopes to get a large, and positive, response from the community both on campus and off.
