Bernard "Bernie" Garwig is a senior Intelligence Studies major, Information Technology minor from Rochester, NY.  In addition to working at The Merciad, Bernie is a member of the Mercyhurst Athletic Band.  Bernie also participates in many different clubs and activities on campus.  He is known for being a top tier memer.  Bernie says: "Go Lakers"!

The Lakers hoist the Niagara cup victoriously after their 38-21 victory over the Gannon University on Oct. 27.  The victory marks the third year in a row that the Lakers football squad has beaten Erie rival Gannon.
