New PAC Web site up and running
September 4, 2009
The Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center at Mercyhurst College has often been called the cultural center of Erie.
The PAC brings in dozens of artists from various genres each year to present not only to the students on campus, but also to the greater Erie community for a low cost.
With more of today’s communication going online all the time, an aesthetically pleasing Web site is crucial to the success of a small company. The time had come for the PAC’s Web site to get a makeover.
The new PAC Web site (pac.mercyhurst.edu) now has a more modern look appealing to all ages. It still has a standard streamlined appearance, but with a bright, bold color scheme.
Gone is the traditional look that all Mercyhurst Web sites have; it has been replaced by a unique appearance for all to enjoy.
The new Web site has become easier to use than ever before. With a colorful navigation bar at the top of the page, movement from page to page takes only seconds.
Viewers can see the next 10 upcoming events scheduled to take place in the PAC along with a complete but brief explanation about each event. In the box office they can find out information on how to order tickets from your home, as well as the location and hours of the box office on campus. Finally, there is information about the different venues that make up the Performing Arts Center, and a little bit about its history.
The new PAC Web site has everything needed to learn about the cultural events going on in the theater.
