This is the Only Level (http://armorgames.com/play/4309/this-is-the-only-level) truly lives up to a name which implies that it is a tough game to complete. This game wants its player to lose.

At times, the game can be so difficult that cheating is the only way to win and, conveniently, the game has a walkthrough link right on its Web site. While the game can be tedious and pointless at times, it is a good time waster.

In this game, the player controls an elephant moving through what appears to be the same obstacle course over and over. Despite their similarities, at each stage, the rules change slightly.

The first stage works as it is expected to. The arrow keys move the elephant just as they should and it is easy to navigate through the maze.

At the end of the first stage, all you have to do is press a button to open a door and move on to the next stage.

After that, the rules change and players have to figure out those new rules in order to get the elephant from one side of the room to the other. At one point, for example, it is necessary to use the mouse instead of the directional keys. Rules become more bizarre and complicated as the game goes on.

Players may feel like tearing out their hair because of the numerous complications in the game, but there is hope and help to complete the game.

The title of the stage (found at the bottom left of the screen), gives hints as to what should be done to complete the stage. The game designers have also posted links to a walkthrough of the game. So, don’t fear and please, do not tear out your hair. You are too young to go bald.

Overall, this game is mindless fun that lasts only until it becomes too complicated and frustrating and you decide to quit. It is an OK game, but not a great one. ‘This is the Only Level’ is a good game for passing the time while waiting for something better to come along. However, it is not a game that will have you on the edge of your seat begging for more.
