I see this act as students showing their support for a “former” student whom is innocent until proven guilty. This is a private matter. It is troubling for all involved. However it is not something to have on the front page of a school news paper. In this case, the matter between the “former” student should not be publicized on this campus. If I were a prospective student coming to the campus, I would be horrified by this news article. Parents, and visitors of the university must be disgusted. Frankly, I find it embarrassing and harassing to this university and it’s students that we are publicizing something so personal on THE FRONT PAGE. Perhaps we should be advocating the positive aspects of this school, especially when we are having a “Major Day” and Laker Live-Ins come.
