Described as “…hugely enjoyable and very funny,” by the London Times, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night will be shown in the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center performed by the Aquila Theater Company.
As a reinterpretation of William Shakespeare’s comedic play “Twelfth Night,” the show boosts the same amount of humor and laughs.
The Aquila Theater Company tells the tale of Viola who disguises herself as a man to work for a duke as his page. She soon finds herself mixed up in a love triangle, with hilarious consequences.
Twelfth Night promises to be a good time for audience members of all ages. The performance is on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m.
There is a pre-show event being held in The Cummings Art Gallery at 1 p.m. The pre-show event includes the opportunity to dress up in Shakespeare-era clothing with a member of the cast.
