Bengsons
October 8, 2013
Noted by the New York Times as “Not only a tremendous musical talent, but also a raw honesty and sincere righteousness,” The Erie Art Museum will be hosting a performance by the Bengson’s, on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 8:00 pm.
This husband-and-wife duo is compared to a combination of Janis Joplin and David Byrne.
Abigail and Shaun Bengson are the best in indie folk and young stars of the NYC experimental music and theater community.
Their emotional songs blend group choruses with lively melodies and rich music that incorporates everything from banjo to accordion to harp.
They have performed their shows, musicals and performances across the country and around the world.
The opening Act will be The Zach Orr Band. With his musical harmonies, singer/songwriter Zack Orr wows the crowd as he shifts between guitar and his laptop, drawing comparisons to the likes of Radiohead.
