Senior week, commemorating the countdown of 100-days remaining until graduation, will have different events each night during the week of Monday, February 23 to Friday, February 27.
The Kickoff Party will begin the week’s festivities from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 23 in the Student Union Great Room. During the party, the committee will distribute class T-shirts, raffle a gift card, and offer space in their time capsule, all of which are available to students after making the required contribution to the senior class gift.
Eastland Bowl will host Glow Bowling from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 24. The $8 cost will cover all night bowling and shoe rental, with additional food and beverage specials.
The “Dip into your pockets” dip competition will offer several food dips and chips from 7:30 to 9 p.m Wednesday, February 25 at the Grotto. Professors and Staff will donate dips for students to judge. All participants enter for the chance to win a door prize upon entry, and an additional raffle will take place.
The Senior Date auction will take place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, February 26 in Walker Recital Hall. Entry is $5 and the event will have a gift card raffle.
The Stone Celebration will conclude the week’s events from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, February 27 at the Cornerstone bar and grill. The class T-shirt distributed on Monday is required to enter the basement, which the Cornerstone will allot for Mercyhurst seniors during this time.
Seniors who wish to get a T-shirt must make a donation of $20.15 to any member of the class gift committee who will have pledge cards containing further donation details.
