The team plays its first home games of the regular season Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. against St. Cloud State.

These will also be the first games of record that the team plays without Cameron behind the bench. She was injured while riding her bicycle Sept. 12 in a hit-and-run accident in Summit Township and was hospitalized at Hamot Medical Center until being moved to a Toronto hospital earlier this week.

For a donation of at least $10, fans can watch each game from the balcony. Raffle tickets will also be on sale Friday for an autographed game jersey and for a signed stick on Saturday. Tickets are $1, five for $3 and an arm’s length for $10.

Buttons with Cameron’s image will be on sale at the front entrance for $5 each.

All revenue generated at each game from the auctions, button sales and tickets will be donated to the Cameron family.

The driver who struck her, Allen Francis Peters, faces a preliminary hearing Tuesday, October 12 on 14 charges.
