Pair of hockey players charged with sexual assault
Ethan Magoc file photo: Mercyhurst freshman goaltender Jordan Tibbett.Two Mercyhurst College freshman hockey players have been charged with sexual assault stemming from a Nov. 14 incident on Briggs Avenue.
Kyle Just and Jordan Tibbett, both 20 years old, were arraigned in front of Erie 3rd Ward District Judge Tom Carney Tuesday morning on a sexual assault felony count, according to a report by the Erie Times-News.
Criminal complaints filed in the case allege Just and Tibbett sexually assaulted a woman and forced her to perform a sex act in a Briggs apartment on Nov. 14.
Mercyhurst student missing from N.Y. home
Contributed photoJenni-Lyn Watson, a Mercyhurst College student, has not been seen since Friday morning.
Watson, a native of Liverpool, N.Y., was last seen at her home early in the morning on Friday, according to a report from WSYR-TV of Syracuse, N.Y.
She is a junior dance major at Mercyhurst standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 100 pounds. Watson has blonde hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket and black pants.
