Senior goaltender Hillary Pattenden has joined former Laker Meghan Agosta in the NCAA record books.

A year after Agosta set numerous records, most notably scoring 300 points in her career, Pattenden has added her own name to the books.

Following the Lakers 9-0 drubbing of Lindenwood, Pattenden recorded her fifth shutout of the season, but more importantly, it was her 92nd career victory.

Pattenden passed former Wisconsin star, Patty Kazmaier award winner and Team USA Olympian Jessie Vetter.

During her senior season, Pattenden is having her best statistical year. Although her 12-4 record isn’t as sterling her first three seasons, but her save percentage is up from past years. She currently ranks sixth in the country in save percentage with .939 and is second in shutouts.

Pattenden also set a career-high in saves with 48 against Boston College to tie the record.

With 13 games remaining in the regular season, expect Pattenden to build on her win total.

Of the remaining games, only the Cornell game is non-conference. The other 12 are against College Hockey America (CHA) opponents, which historically have been less than intimidating to the nine-time defending CHA champions.

Despite playing without arguably the three best players in program history for the first time in her career, Pattenden is showing that she can play too.

The Lakers just wrapped up an easy sweep of Lindenwood University by scores of 9-0 and 7-2. They will take the holidays off and begin conference play after the New Year against Syracuse on Jan. 6.
