Anyone interested in running for a MSG Senator position, letters of intent are due April 8. Elections will follow April 14-16. “It [the election] is open to everybody so your seats here are not permanent,” Public Relations Coordinator Garret Erwin, said.

This week, candidates will be interviewed for the appointed executive board positions Multicultural Activities Chair (MAC), Student Activities Chair and Public Relations.

The Student Finance Code was updated for the first time since 2010. The update allots for the new MAC. The provision where Recognized Student Clubs and Organizations (RSCO) “lose 40% of their budget if they do not use ½ the budget by the midway point,” Treasurer AJ Zahuranec said.

RSCOs submitted budgets for the 2015-2016 year. Zahuranec said, “Over 75% of requests were accepted.” The total RSCO funding from MSG will be $8,360 for the 60 RSCOs.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be on campus Thursday at the Career Fair from 1-4pm, Friday at the Wellness Fair 11-1pm, and after Sunday’s 11am mass. Lemonade will be $1 donations and additional donations will be accepted.

Kevin Mac will sing at the bookstore on Friday at 8pm. Saturday’s event will be Comedians Justin and Jeff at 8pm in the PAC.
