Men’s cross country does best since joining PSAC

Earning top honors at a PSAC championship, the men’s cross country team is ending its season strong doing the best since joining the conference in 2008.

With a ninth-place finish, the Lakers are looking forward to carrying their success over to the next season, as they continue to improve each year.

The Lakers finish with a total of 241 points at the Kutztown University Invitational, behind Lock Haven who was able to obtain the first-place finish.

Junior Paul Schwan set the pace for the day and finished 35th for the Lakers, along with Jacob Eneix who trailed behind and captured 36th place.

Some of the other Lakers that stood out that day were senior Jacob Griffin (40th), senior Mike Williamson (70th) and freshman Anthony Amroski (77th).

The Lakers will travel to Lock Haven, Pa., on November 9 for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship.
