My article last week has apparently stirred some pots that wished not to be stirred. This was indeed the intent of the article, and there is not one sentence I would revoke or modify. It should, however, be noted that my writings represent my opinions and mine alone – therefore they are not representative of any one member of the Reserve Officer Training Corp, or the ROTC Cadre, to be specific. To anyone that disagrees with what I write – I encourage and continually look forward to an open and honest exchange. However, I look upon any attempt to usurp my authority over my own opinions via back channels with nothing less than severe disdain.
